💡 A. Apa Itu Descriptive Text?

Descriptive text adalah teks yang menggambarkan seseorang, tempat, atau benda secara jelas agar pembaca dapat membayangkannya.

Contoh:

• Describing your best friend

• Describing your school

• Describing your pet

🧩 B. Tujuan (Social Function)

Tujuan dari descriptive text adalah untuk memberi informasi tentang seseorang, tempat, atau benda tertentu.

✍️ D. Ciri Kebahasaan (Language Features)

1. Menggunakan simple present tense
   → She has long black hair.

2. Menggunakan adjectives (kata sifat)
   → tall, beautiful, clean, big, friendly, etc.

3. Menggunakan linking verbs (kata penghubung)
   → is, am, are, has, have

4. Menggunakan kata benda dan frasa benda
   → a big house, a beautiful park

   My Best Friend

   My best friend is Rani. She is sixteen years old. She is a student at SKB Banjarnegara.
   Rani is a cheerful and friendly girl. She has long black hair, brown eyes, and a sweet smile. She is medium in height and a bit chubby. She always wears simple clothes, but she looks neat every day.

   Rani likes reading and drawing. She often spends her free time at the library or art room. She is very helpful and kind to everyone. I like being her friend because she always supports me when I have problems.
